Have You Filled A Bucket Today?
Bucket Fillers
Our class is excited to become bucket fillers. As bucket fillers, we recognize the positive ways we treat each other. A bucket filler shows respect and appreciation for others by displaying acts of kindness, manners, and having the willingness to help others.
Students are learning that in life we all have invisible buckets we carry with us and we fill it every time we do a good deed for someone. Using a class display of individual buckets, students use fuzzy pompoms to fill their own bucket and the person they showed kindness towards. When their bucket is full, they receive a sticker on their bucket and start over again. The stickers on the bucket help students see the number of times their buckets have been filled throughout the school year.

Bucket Dippers
Unfortunately, there are bucket dippers or what we call BULLIES. It is our goal to encourage them to become bucket fillers and make sure everyone is showing acts of kindness to one another.
